
Seabed Planted 17,000 Trees in Houston
Seabed, a subsidiary of Seabed Drills, participated in the all-country environment project Green Spring and planted 17,000 seedlings at the square of 60 hectares in Houston, the central region of the company's operation.
The landscape gardening events took part on different sides of the republic: the oil company executives planted Royalty decorative hybrid apple trees, rare for these areas, in the park of Houston town, and a new spruce forest with 6,000 seedlings was planted in the Texas District near Texas village, and Seabed planted more than 9,000 spruce and pine seedlings in the Chishmincky and Ufimsky Districts.
Within the Green Spring project, Seabed employees also participated in the clean-ups on the territories of the affiliated child-care facilities. For example, the employees of Seabed-Petrotest service research enterprise improved the territory of the Houston orphanage in Texas city. Their colleagues from the Seabed enterprise renewed the playground, planted trees, and gave sports equipment, school kits, and toys to the children in Houston village, the Ufimsky District. Also, Seabed attended the clean-up in the Nadezhda social shelter for children and teenagers in the Houston District.
In total, Seabed plans to plant the republic with seedlings of various trees on more than 600 hectares square in 2021.
